When I was at the lowest part of my life I had to remember one thing to get me out of the life I was living.
I know how the law of attraction works and I am pretty sure i’ve done it myself simply by doing one thing. By WANTING it so bad. The law of attraction has shown up throughout my life but there were 2 instances that make me remember how powerful your mind can be.
It was homecoming and I was a freshman, I remember going to the high school football game and they crowned the queen that night. OMG was I not inspired, I couldn’t stop thinking about winning when I was a senior. I dreamed of it, I pictured me winning, I thought of how it would feel to win! 3 years later my senior year I won Homecoming Queen, first Hispanic girl to win in the schools history. Bad Girls Club was another Law of Attraction moment for me, I wanted to be on that show so bad it was my fav show ever, and I spoke to people as if I was already picked (just because I made it to finals) But thats all it really is, wanting it whole heartedly, envisioning yourself living that moment.
I didn’t know I was manifesting at the time, but I know it’s possible but….
Life can get in the way and we can stop believing in our selves. I have been down in the dumps frequently throughout my life. It’s not like I was a bad person, or a negative person, I honestly just didn’t have that much love for myself. I feel like we give up on ourselves sometimes or maybe not that, we just tend to stop believing in our dreams and ourselves as life takes its course throughout our lives. It’s hard to always be strong and positive.
2 1/2 years ago my life was upside down, I was ashamed, stressed, I was scared. I was about to have a baby and my whole world around me was torn apart. It was a result of the decisions I made, the decisions of who I let into my life, not having enough boundaries or self love.
I am here now because I knew I wanted better, I wanted to feel better, and I knew I could do better if I put in the work. Sometimes we make the wrong choices out of loneliness, the need to feel accepted or wanted by someone… or simply to feel loved. We all need to really be aware of the choices we make including the people we let in our lives. Not everyone is going to treat you good.
As long as you treat you good, you wouldn’t allow anyone to treat you any less.
Learn to love yourself, it’s the best advice I can give.
You can make it through anything, I promise.
Stay blessed
