So the New Year has come and most people are looking to manifest some changes in themselves and in their lives, BIG and small!
But for some of you out there the January “high” might have already fizzled away by now. Did you know that as many as 50% of adults in the United States make New Year’s resolutions, but fewer than 10% keep them for more that a few months! That’s facts.
It’s all fun and games making your resolution list and when the time comes you mess up or don’t keep your word to yourself. You might ask yourself why do I have a hard time sticking to a goal or why can’t I change and better myself? Well I know the secret answer to that question and I am about to share it with you. The secret is, YOU MUST REALLY want it. It’s as simple as that, you MUST wan’t to change who you are and what you wanna do. To succeed and accomplish your resolutions you need to have passion, a strong will to be better.
My New Years promises to myself was to organize my time, time management has been a real issue for me. Being a single mom and trying to run businesses, do tv shows, and maintain all of my social media platforms with no help has been frustrating and challenging at times. I felt like I was getting absolutely nothing done, I just felt all over the place. But here I am 7 days strong and tbh if I were the old me I would of already failed! lol but it’s time to grow, who else is sick of being the same person with the same shit they been dealing with all their lives?
Maintain the New Years spirit, leave last year in 2020, its time to become the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. Get your mind right, drink a lot of water, get your confidence up, work on that body that you have always wanted… time waits for nobody. It is not too late to recommit if you have already abandoned your New Years resolutions. If quitting bad habits is just something you’re not good at, first of all don’t beat yourself up over it. Why don’t you start by ADDING good habits to your life. Change isn’t always about stopping bad habits or focusing on the negative, change can also be you adding new positive things to your life and starting good habits. Don’t be afraid to dream BIG as you head into the new year and do not worry about how it’s going to happen, just trust the process and believe in yourself. If you are doing the work and moving towards your goals, The Universe is working for you.
Stop those sabotaging self talks and start by telling yourself “I can”, “I will”, “I must”.
make this year yo B****!
